And what to look forward to in Alert Level 2
Here at Nose To Tail, we care about health and safety just as much as we miss seeing your dogs (that’s a lot!)
With the government’s recent announcement of changes in alert level, we wanted to let you know what our plan is to serve you while keeping you, your dog, and ourselves safe.
Alert Level 3: Shopping is available
From April 28th, when Alert Level 3 comes into effect, we can access the Nose To Tail store again and start to take orders for food and care items.
While we’re looking forward to this immensely, there are a few new precautions we have to take, and we ask that you bear with us while we continue to find the best way to serve you. To comply with the stipulated rules and regulations of Alert Level 3 — and for the health and safety of all — all transactions must be contactless.
To achieve this, we have created a 5-step process, as follows:
1. Order Placement
Orders can be placed by emailing email@example.com. Please include your desired product and the quantity required, as well as what day you will be picking up your order so we can prepare it for you.
We will begin accepting orders via email from Tuesday 28th April.
We do not have an e-commerce facility yet, but we’re working on getting that set up to make this process easier for you.
2. Order Payment
On receipt of your order, we will confirm availability and price. We will advise via email your order details, total cost, and Nose To Tail bank account details.
Please ensure you pay for your order prior to pick up.
3. Order Pickup
Orders can be picked up between 10am and 2pm on Friday and Saturday, commencing 1st May.
When picking up your order, we ask you to exercise the same social distancing protocols that you would when visiting a supermarket, pharmacy, or petrol station.
As keen as we are to catch up with you, we ask that when you come to the store, please pick up your order from the foyer and depart again without hanging around so that others can collect their orders too with minimum hassle and time.
If, due to extenuating circumstances, you cannot pick up your order we are willing to offer a delivery service within a 10km radius of the store, for a nominal fee of $5. We offer this as a good will initiative for those customers who cannot make it to the store.
We will keep you updated on how the operation is working, and details of specials or need-to-know information via Facebook, our website, and email.
We thank you for your patience as we are ‘feeling our way’ during this period.
Alert Level 2: Grooming is available
Many customers are asking about our grooming service, and wanting to make bookings for when this reopens.
At this point we anticipate — based on guidance from the government — to be able to offer some kind of grooming service from mid May, although this is yet to be confirmed.
All we can do at this point is register your need/request and put you on a waiting list.
Once we are clear as to how we can operate a compliant, healthy, and safe environment for grooming, we will confirm with you when we can book an appointment for your dog.
