Role: Customer service representative
How long have you worked with Nose To Tail, what is your role and what brought you to the company?
I have been with Nose To Tail for a little over 4 months now , I am a customer service representative so I help the customers with any questions they may have about products, the health of their dogs and grooming requirements etc.
I brush out, wash and help groom the dogs that come in for their beauty session, also cut nails and clean the ears. I have worked in the animal industry for quite a while now so have knowledge of different breeds, what they need and how to keep them happy and healthy.
Do you have any dogs/pets of your own? (what kind, and names?)
I have a 3 ½ year old long coat male chihuahua called Max who currently has 7 puppies and another litter on the way, a medium coat ginger female cat called Smoodge and a havanese x cat called Dax. I also have cold
water and tropical fish. I have a 3 month old chicken that I have had since he was about 1 week old. I am waiting to adopt a 32 year old standard bred horse called Terminator.
What’s the strangest task you have ever been asked to complete at work?
There have been many, but one of them would be a customer asking me how you remove the top coat from the dog.
Do you have any hobbies/interests outside of work?
Fishing, camping and horse riding.
One thing people don’t know about you?
I also work part time at a Horse trekking farm and teach people of all ages how to ride and also help break in the young horses.
What’s the best advice you’ve ever been given (work or personal)? or a motto or quote you like or live by?
“You don’t know until you try”.
