Self-Service Dog Wash
Phone: 09 448 2227
Nose To Tail know that washing a dog at home, even one with short hair, is a messy business.
Hair, mud, sand and water somehow gets everywhere, taking you longer to clean up the bathroom, and yourself, than it did to wash the dog.
Chances are you’ll never get all the dog hair out of the towels you used.
Making matters worse, dog washing should be a twice-monthly routine for reasons of coat and skin health, and of course to prevent doggy smells.
We’ll Even Wash Your Dog for You
At Nose to Tail cleaning up and towel washing is not your problem. All you do is use our purpose-designed facilities to wash and dry your dog. No kneeling or bending either. For a small additional cost, we even wash you dog for you.
Clean Pup: use of dog washing facilities, no wash pack included. $18
Mucky Pup: use of dog washing facilities, includes wash pack detangler. $25
1. On your way to taking your dog to the dog wash cubicle, collect a wash pack and choose which Nose to Tail dog shampoo to use…
Wash packs contain a water shedder, shampoo massager, face cloth, and two fluffy towels. Nose to Tail shampoos are eco-friendly, have no petrochemicals, are hypoallergenic and contain essential oils to keep your dog nice to be near between regular two weekly washes.
2. Dog wash cubicles are built around waist high wash stations…
Designed by Nose to Tail founder Kath Fitzpatrick to be dog and dog owner friendly…
Simply lead your dog up a ramp and into the wash station…
No lifting to stress dog or owner.
No kneeling or bending over, as there are two heights… one for large dogs and the other for medium to small.
Each wash station has a hand-held showerhead and single lever water temperature and pressure control. A short leash prevents reluctant dogs bolting.
In each cubicle dog combs and brushes are provided for removing loose hair. To help encourage dog washing as a real family affair special boxes are available for young ones to stand on.
3. A neck to knee waterproof apron protects the dog washer…
Here Nose to Tail founder Kath Fitzpatrick is shown here using massager to gently work shampoo into the coat. A pleasant, bonding experience for dog and owner.
4. Rinsing is easy and thorough using the flexible showerhead…
Before toweling the dog, using the shedder rids excess water from your dog’s coat. The soft face cloth included in the wash pack is for cleaning eyes and ears.
5. Professional dog grooming driers finish the job… A wide nozzle drives out water and a soft nozzle fluffs up the coat. All done. But not quite. A finishing spray is available to add shine and fragrance.
